The Steakhouse Winebar + Grill

@ Intercontinental Hotel

lit menu, bread basket

selection of salts

our selection of knives
Selection of mustards

Porterhouse Steak
this porterhouse was unseasoned and a touch of their selections of salt brought the humble, perfectly cooked (we asked for medium) steak to life! costly, but definitely one of the best steaks i've had in town!

Lobster and truffle macaroni

Creamed spinach
Baked alaska, lit
Cross-section of the baked alaska - coffee ice cream, chocolate ice cream and chocolate sponge with tia maria sauce on the side
A really good rendition of the baked alaska  - the meringue was not too sweet like many are, the ice creams are definitely premium quality and very true to their flavours, the sponge gave it textural contrast and the sauce (not photographed) was to die for! I would come back just for this dessert, in a beat!

Food:  ♥ and a ♥ for the baked alaska!
Service: ♥ 1/2
Price: $$$$ (without drinks)
